Posted : 10 May, 2026 05:58 PM Yes, women have many reasons for divorce, and the Bible gives them none. I think women are very tolerant of abuse. Women are great abusers of men and women wholly tolerate the abuse that they dish out to men and they wholly tolerate their departure from scripture. They don't follow Bible teachings. They do the opposite of what God says. Under the Law through Moses, women cannot even divorce their husband. (Deuteronomy 24:1-4) Only the husband can write a certificate of divorce and Jesus speaks against divorce and speaks against a man divorcing his wife. (Matthew 19) Paul also speaks against separation and divorce. (1 Corinthians 7:10-11) But people's hearts are hard, so they want divorce. This is why the Bible says it is better not to marry. TRUE that I do not believe in REPLACING God's word with human customs. TRUE that I don't believe in having an OFFICIAL mate. TRUE that I don't like what's going on now days in divorce and marriage. God pronounces ONE. (Genesis 2:24 and 1 Corinthians 6:16) That is God's Word. That is God's EDICT. We are one with whomever we have sex. Right or wrong, proper or improper wedding or no wedding, we are one with whomever we have sex. This is the Word of God. No where in the Word of God do we read of marriage license or marriage certificate. It is a human invention. It is intended to REPLACE the words of God. People do not like the words of God. Now we say it doesn't count without marriage license and without marriage certificate. Where is marriage license and marriage certificate found anywhere in the word of God? It is not in the narrative. Now we say it doesn't count without this or that, but that is not what the Bible says. Moreover, women are to go to whoever is first. (Exodus 22:16 and Deuteronomy 22:28-29) So, you are very right that I do not agree with a custom that nulls and voids the Word of God and that makes the Word of God utterly worthless to the church. it is like Matthew 23:16. “Woe to you, blind guides! You say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but anyone who swears by the gold of the temple is bound by that oath.’ So too, people are doing this to marriage. Moreover, Jesus speaks against divorce, and Jesus speaks against marriage after divorce. But now the church embraces divorce. Under Old Testament Law, women could not divorce their husbands. Women belong to their husband. Women were not given authority to initiate divorce. That authority was only given to a husband. (Deuteronomy 24:1-4) In the Bible, a woman belongs to her husband. In the Bible, a man therein owns his wives. In the Bible, woman was created for man, not man for woman. (1 Corinthians 11:9) People twist marriage and twist divorce and twist the words of God. I'm trying to get rid of all that twisting and turn back to the Word of God. You are very right that I am against human customs replacing the Word of God. Post Reply

Governments sure don't. Not even the governments that say "FREEDOM OF RELIGION" allow a man the free exercise of his religion nor to go by what the Bible teaches Christian women like to go by what the Prince of the Air has come up with. No Christian woman wants to follow the Bible says. The Church sure doesn't. And the governments don't. Thus, it is Proverbs 31:10, Matthew 19:10 and 1 Corinthians 7:1. Plain and simple, it is just better not to marry. No one wants to follow what the Bible says, so it is better not to marry. Post Reply
