I, like thousands of others, began seeking for a partner here. After a while I began to be lost in the endless sea of faces and testimonials. I cried out to God in prayer to help me because the purpose was to find His choice for me.
One morning the Holy Spirit fell on me and I felt the presence of God and I began to tremble and shake. God revealed to me clearly the woman who I would spent the rest of my life with. She was a member of CDFF Lebanon.
At this point we briefly wrote some letters to each other, but thats all. After informing her what God revealed she was somewhat shocked yet understanding becaue of her faith.
A few letters later I felt the biggest tug at my heart that I have to go to see this woman who lives in Lebanon. I prayed and prayed to God to give me faith because this was not normal...I never talked or saw this person other than this website. I took a week off work and I bought tickets to the Middle East by faith and said Lord I know you are God and I will follow your will. The day before leaving I called her for the first time to at least make sure she was real. To here her voicefor for the first time reassured me somewhat because I still had my doubts, after all its the Middle East.
My parents and I prayed and although paralyzed of this move they supported Gods will. The day of my departure God spoke to me again and placed it on my heart to even trust him more and God placed it on my heart to take an engagement ring because God said trust in Me because it has already been given to you my son.
At Philadelphia International Airport, Still dazed, I left my parents in a trance like state amazed at what God is doing.
The plane took off for France then to Lebanon. Not knowing where i was going or the language or even if this person would show up to meet me at the airport where some of many questions in my mind, But Gods word always overcame my reluctance.
Finally landing in Lebanon and after going through customs and seeing those doors open and my eyes meeting hers I felt such a calm and peace indescribable.
The Holy Spirit was so strong and we both prayed with tears for days because we both felt Gods move so powerfully..
I fell in love with her and with her family and proposed to her the day after I landed..Our love of Christ unifies us beyond words and I would blindly travel the oceans and deserts for her..
....But my lesson in this awesome love story is what an awesome God we serve.. Blessed is he who believed yet did not see..We will marry this summer..
Thank you CDFF this would not have been possible without you guys...you have changed two families lives and future generations to come.
