About Me
I am an introvert so like to process things before I speak. I am shy, but can be outgoing in smaller groups where I know everyone well. My family and friends are very important to me. I love God and want to serve him always.
I am new to these kinds of sites, but my friends say I should give the online thing a try so I decided why not. I am old fashion when it comes to relationships. I think it is the guys job to initiate the relationship and so though this isn't exactly an old fashion way to meet someone I would rather you contact me because mostlikely if you don't we will never get to know eachother.
I finished my masters in Geology in December of 2007. I have always wanted to be a paleontologist (well maybe not always, but pretty close). At one point I also really wanted to be a famous actress, but the only things I did in that respect were a few community plays when I was little and drama team at church when I was in Jr High and High School.
I worked in a natural history museum for 2 years in a hands on gallery for kids. I loved the job and could see myself working with kids in the areas of geology and paleontology.
I got a paleontology job in Utah in March of 2008 and so have been walking surveyor stakes and watching bulldozers and other construction machinary around Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming ever since. Some days it does get very boring, but when you find something the excitment comes back. It is also very cool to see the other things people find and bring back to the office. I don't see this as a long term career job, but it is sure a step in that direction seeing as many paleontologist never find jobs in their field.
I would really love to work for the national parks giving tours and teaching kids science. We will see where God leads since these jobs are temorary and only last 6 months. Being single, at this point in my life nothing is really holding me in one place so it doesn't matter if I have to move every 6 months to another national park
I am an avid reader and love to be outside hiking or camping perferable in the mountains or in a neat geologic area.
