I am a 57 year old widow. My husband died of cancer two years ago. I have three children, grown, and five grandchildren. I love the Lord very much!! I like to read, walk, socialize with my friends, play cards and I love to minister and help people.
I am looking for a friend to communicate with and who knows where it might go from there. I don't want to spend the rest of my life alone but I want the one that God has for me. Only He knows my future and what is best for me.
I love to be around the water. I do have a fear of being in the water but I love boats..go figure that one. I also like campfires. When I need to hear from God, I can go to the water or a fire and usually will hear from Him. Water and fire are just so peaceful to me.
I love country even tho I was raised in the city...a Chicago suburb.
I love working for the Lord...I have opened and operated a homeless shelter for women and also a Bible bookstore. The shelter closed down 3 months before my husband died.
I love my grandchildren and my children. They are very important to me.I also have two dogs and a cat that are like part of the family. They are also very spoiled.
It would be important to me to find someone that puts God first, me 2nd and then our families. Someone that we could work together...communicate, consider one another etc.
