About Me
Just curious, mostly.
Life, work and church keep me hopping, but it'd be great to correspond online with someone from time to time. My sons are loving and attentive, but they have their own exciting lives to pursue.
I love teaching, both for my work as a hospice nurse/educator and for my church family. Humor is an important component in both settings: I'm a real laughter junkie.
Prayer, meditation and study are important to me - need to do more.
Music is a joy: Playing piano is my favorite, but I also have a merry time substituting at the organ for traditional worship and and can strum guitar along with the Sunday school kidlets as well. A musical goal:
learn to play the ukelele. I'd also love to direct the New York Philharmonic playing the 1812 Overture. With the cannon fire at the end, of course.
Kick-back activities include movies, staying sort of fit, and enough quilting, etc to keep up with my friends. I love to dance, and try out a new restaurant. Outside I like to walk, x-country ski, and am learning to lean the right way when riding behind the guy driving the motorcycle.
About you? Being a faithful follower of our wonderful Savior is first. I also admire those who want to learn, grow, forgive, move forward, and especially those not afraid to laugh at themselves.
