I am--of course--looking for a Christian man... someone who lives out his faith, likes talking about what God is doing in his life and around the world (or at least open to talking about it). A great communicator would be nice... in all areas. Laughter... because sense of humor is always a wonderful thing.
I'm really pretty simple, and don't require much. I like to be alone and reflect and think or read, and I like to laugh with others.
Interests: chocolate and wine, paint worn old buildings, water and sun, thunderstorms, pilates and keeping healthy, road trips, bike rides to coffee shops, banter with sarcastic people, movies, photos or books that pull you in speak to where you are, talking to friends, spending time with family, and lugging my camera about here or there.
I am back in the Midwest after having been in California for so long (over 10 years). At this time, I still consider my life in transition... since I don't know where exactly I'll end up within this Midwestern world. (Does one ever feel entirely settled)?
My faith is important to me, my relationship with God... and I think it's important to defend faith with people, to be able to communicate clearly. Lately, I've been challenged with the need to do it better.
Hmmm... Life doesn't happen exactly as we hope... but I want to see God in all the happenings and keep holding onto the fact that HE has a plan in it all... and to remember that I am chosen to be a part of it all. Obviously, we all have our history (s) and those affect our lives. In the midst of that, I'm always wanting to grow and change and see myself.
If you are a man who can't stop looking at porn, then don't stop here. No woman wants to compete with that, and I certainly don't. I'm not a little girl anymore, so I want a mature man. |

| First dates are different than first meetings... first meetings should be casual. I see this whole thing as about friendship first. I think it's important to connect and communicate well in writing, and then on phone... it's not going to happen in person if two people cannot communicate well before hand. Just an opinion... |
