About me ? Let's see.......Vickie is a bit shy at first, then VERY outgoing. I would have to say she is honest, extremely caring, very much a giver, and alot of fun to be around in many different scenerios. Her sense of humor is usually in gear as she tries to see and gleam the best of any situatition. ........well anyway...this is what I believe my friends would say if speaking for me !
It is only fair to mention that I do have a heart condition.(not medical) The specialist say that it is enlarged and could cause me to have some pain from time to time. After all these years I have grown use to it and wouldn't have it corrected for all of the world ! I have found that the rewards by far out weigh any pain inflected by letting people into my heart, and sharing my heart at every given opportunity. I really am a giver at heart and of my heart and a caregiver by nature.
I am family and friend oriented. Last minute weekend group trips or well planned get aways always hit the spot...as I like to be up to something...most of the time. There are times that I enjoy quite times at home reading a good book or just watching it rain!
I'm pretty easy going, humorous, witty, intelligent, giving, loving, faithful, loyal, trustworthy, adventurous, romantic, helpful, caring, sharing,and compassionate. I have an outrageous sense of humor...after I get to know someone. I would rather give than recieve, most of the time. Well...who doesn't like a little surprise once in a while. But I do truly enjoy doing for others. There is alot more I could say about myself, but if I ever decide to write that book...there won't be any thing left to say! OBJECTIVE:
Although I have some really great friends that have been in my life for many years, I would like the opportunity to nurture new friendships that are more alike in spirit.
Of course I would LOVE to meet "tha one". In my heart I really want to leave that up to the Lord. If meeting friends here causes two destined paths to cross...then so be it! Our individual relationships with the Lord wouldl be what leads and guides us to be together.
I believe that for the most part, the man is the leader of the home, but more importantly the spiritual leader.It is also my belief that men and women should seek to compliment each other through their respective strenghts, and seek to strengthen each other in their weaknesses.
My daydreams in this department consist of spending Satuday afternoons at the church together helping prepare for Sunday services - visitaton, decorating class rooms - getting up early on Sunday to start dinner because friends or visitors are coming over after church. I want to hold hands during church -and kneel together in prayer.
It is important that the man in my life is someone that I can look up to on many levels and admire too. I am a woman that truly enjoys "taking care of a man". Getting to pack lunch for you and your fishing buddies just...makes my day! That is IF I get to go on the next fishing adventure!
