I confess that when I'm faced with certain situations,
I am not in a right frame of mind, when I react.
So I ask for forgiveness for all the times
I've said or done something to hurt you or displease you.
Don't talk down of me. Pray for me.
My weakness does get the best of me.
Don't use it against me. Don't judge me.
Don't gather around and gossip about me then smile in my face when you see me.
If you say you love me, mean what you say.
Love me when things are going good and when things are going bad.
Love me with the love of Christ. See the God in me and not my flesh, which is like filthy rags.
Lift me up when I'm down. Encourage me when I feel weary.
Be a brother, a sister, a friend. Don't pretend. Just Love me.
I am a work in progress. God's not finish with me yet.
We're all in this journey together. There's a prize to gain.
And by all means, through Christ, I will receive it.
Put to death the deeds of the flesh
And let the Light that dwells within us shine.
Leave the past behind. Let go of all pride, foolishness, anger, hatred
unforgiveness, self-centeredness and all that displeases the Lord
And let He who started a good work in you continue to work in you and me and through us
for the glory and expansion of his kingdom.
