I'm an optimistic, sweet, friendly, quirky Christian. I like to cook and have people over for dinner. Cliched as it might be, I do in fact enjoy long walks on the beach, but I also like to look at the seaweed that has washed up and also search for seaglass. I suppose that is a side effect of my current occupation: grad student studying marine algae. At the same time, my alternate life plan involves a farm, a herd of sheep, and a spinning wheel. I love to swing dance and recently learned contra dancing. My idea of a fun party is one with witty, knowledgeable people and flowing conversation. Having lived in New England most of my life, I am fearlessness while driving in snow and have plenty of Yankee ingenuity.
I enjoy black cherry tea with lots of honey, olives, memoirs about people doing interesting things (such as raising goats or learning to belly dance), reusable grocery bags, good pink sunsets, parenthetical remarks, and learning new skills.
