About Me
Hello and welcome! I'm an aspiring physician scientist who loves dancing/theater, water sports (especially scuba diving), and martial arts in my free time. I've lived abroad in France and Spain and can speak the respective languages fairly fluently, so any polyglots and any other ambitious, intellectual adventurers are welcome!
**Since I firmly believe honesty is the best policy, below you'll find more information about my faith and why I joined this site:
1. I haven't yet resolved issues of my faith. I was raised Christian, I am a spiritual person with a strong sense of (liberal) Judeo-Christian values, and I came to this website to meet people who also want to live a life of dignity and integrity and who share my strong sense of morality and ethics. But as much I'd like to hurry up and figure out who God is (that would make my life *so* much easier!), I'm taking my time to figure things out, and I can't say at the moment that I'm Christian. I take the question seriously, and the jury is still out on that one. So I appreciate people who will be understanding of the journey -- no proselytizing please!
2. I did come here to make friends! I am very excited to have this opportunity to meet people who share my values and interests. And even though I am single and not dating anyone at the moment, I prefer to initiate friendships only right now, since I believe friendship is the true foundation to any romantic relationship in life. And plus it takes the pressure off. :-)
