(I've filled out one of these kind of questionnaires before, so I copied my answers into this space--hope you don't mind :) )
Q: Describe the type of relationship you are looking for. What qualities would you like in this relationship or person? Are you seeking a particular age range?
A: I am looking and praying for Godly relationships in my life, of all kinds--I really believe in the power and importance of Christian community. In a dating relationship, I'm looking for someone who enjoys life, and is willing to put the important things first--which means faith heads up the list, and everything else is secondary. I have a passion for the Lord--I'm looking for someone who shares this, who has a heart for ministry/missions/outreach in its many forms.
Q: Describe a little of your personality and character traits. (Are you funny, laid back, more serious, open, shy, etc.?)
A: I'm pretty much a people person--you kind of have to be in my line of work. I love witty conversation (but a steady dose of sarcasm can sometimes be too much). I like to laugh, and I'm fairly "artsy," fyi :)
Q: Describe your Christian faith. Where are you at and what are your goals? What Scripture verses are important to you?
A: My faith defines who I am--the Lord has totally changed the direction of my life. I love Romans 8:28, and John 14:27.
Q: What would be the perfect setting for a first meeting with a new friend or date? Describe it :-)
A: This totally depends on the person--no matter where you go, though, I think room has to be made for conversation--so sky-diving is probably out for a first date--we'll see about number two ;)
Q: What are your favorite activities? (Including sports, leisure, artistic/musical, etc.)
A: I love anything live--music, theater, baseball (on occasion :)). I have a penchant for iTunes--which has totally revolutionized how I listen and what I listen to musically. I love going out on the Katy Trail (a local walking/biking spot); my favorite thing to do is spend time with friends and family.
Q: Describe your current occupation. Do you like what you do? What is your dream job?
A: I am working for my church doing music and children's ministry. I love what I do, and even though it's not always the easiest job, I feel very blessed every day. In many ways, this is my dream job--although, I'm open to wherever the Lord leads. I taught school for many years before the Lord opened the door to this opportunity--music and worship has always been where my heart is, and all my years of teaching are put to good use in Children's Ministry--all in all, God has been good to me in unexpected ways.
Q: Where did you go to school (i.e. high school or college/university, etc.)? What did you study? Did you like it? Would you like to do more?
A: I grew up in Jefferson City, then got a degree in Elementary Education from MU. I may go back to school one day--that's yet to be seen...
Q: What are some of your personal goals in life?
A: I want to live life to the fullest, and give glory where it's due.
Q: Where were you born? Have you ever traveled? If so, where? What is your ideal adventure?
A: I've done some traveling out of the country--I would love to do so for an extended period of time. At one point, I was seriously considering/praying about overseas mission work, and I'm definitely open to that in the future.
Q: Is there anything else you would like to add? This is your chance to get in that last (but not least:-) bit of important info that you would like others to know.
A: I have prayerfully considered this, I feel it's appropriate to wait for communication to be initiated by the gentleman. I suppose that may seem old-fashioned, but it's something I feel convicted about. Blessings on your search!
