This "sourthern girl" is looking for that special someone who loves the Lord first & foremost. For 20 years I was married to a true Texas gentleman. God took him home to heaven in November 2008. Although only a short year has passed, God has shown me it is time to move on, therefore I'm looking for another Christian gentleman to continue life's journey with me. I am very serious and feel led by God to enter my information honestly and openly.
I have two grown children and 5 grandchildren. I'd love to meet someone who is family oriented and who would welcome my little family as I would certainly do with his.
I realize some men won't give a lady a chance who has extra weight on her. I do understand, but if you are one of them, let's not waste your time or mine. I am a beautiful person on the inside and not too bad on the outside either, just carrying some extra weight that I'm working deligently to remove. The extra pounds were a result of taking prednisone for a temporary illness. I would like to find an understanding man who will join God in being my personal training coach to help me attain the weight I was before the illness. An extra person to help and assist with this task would mean a bigger blessing in the end.
I love Jesus, Bible studies, flower gardening, my cats, family gatherings, camping, movies, music, baking, writing Christian devotionals, being outdoors, traveling, eating fresh peaches on Blue Bell ice cream and going to flea markets. I love to be around water, lakes, beaches, rivers. Anything fun!
I am a very polite, old fashioned, quiet, very kind, calm and caring lady, a good listener, easy to talk to, compassionate, love to read, watch movies, attend church regularly, volunteer my time on a nursing level, collect Noah's Ark figurines, and make great chilli, meatloaf, beef stew and spaghetti sauce.
God is the pilot directing my life. Ever since I was 5 years old, I can remember talking to Jesus while playing in the sandbox. He was my best friend long before I even knew who He was. I am a survivor of incest and domestic violence. There is no way I could have made it through those dark valleys had God not been the pilot. He is first and foremost in my life. I've listened to His calling for my life and enjoy sharing my testimony in hopes of saving one girl or woman from the darkness & torture they live in. I'm on fire with the message He has given me to share and can't wait for the next opportunity to shine for Him. God is helping me search for the co-pilot of my life. Could you possibly be this man?
God knows my heart. I'm praying He will send a man who is serious about their Christian life and who has put God first in their life. I'm honest, fun, thoughtful, sensitive to feelings of others, love to talk, and will be your best friend. My friends tell me I have the biggest heart they have ever seen and someday God will choose another Christian gentleman to share life with me. It doesn't take money or material possessions to please me. Just take my hand & walk with me and I'll be the happiest girl on earth.
