"What does one say to a bunch of people that you don't know? Hmmm, here goes. I'm nearly 54 but look 30 something, good genes in the family. I'm basically a work-aholic and I work a lot of hours at my job. I'm very involved in church ministry and there really is no time in my life for a relationship, but lately I feel as though I'm missing something, that I'm not quite as complete by myself as I thought I was. In this last year my daughter has joined the army at the tender age of twenty-five, remarried and took my darling grandchildren with her. They now all live in Kansas with Dorothy & Toto:) But I am really feeling the "empty nest snydrom". My daughter is being deployed to Iraq in March, so naturally things with the kids are up in the air with them in the spring. My life is not without it's issues, and it would not be an easy fit for anyone, but I beleive if this is the Lord nudging me, it's a fit with someone whom God may be nudging too. As far as looks go, some tell me I'm pretty, others tell me to lose more weight, others say I'm just right, I say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As far as personality goes, I can be very freindly, and I have a good sense of humor. But I also have a very serious side. My committment to the Lord is first and has been for twenty-five years. I've never been unfaithful to Him and I never will.Changing the subject, I like sports, as a spectator. The only one that bores me to tears is football. Sorry, gotta be honest with that one.
