ABOUT ME : I am so aware that the Lord is always with me. He is in my thoughts throughout the day, and I am conscious of His presence in all that I do. Every decision I make, my views and perspectives - they are all based on or influenced by my faith and my reverence for my Abba Father.
MY PERSONALITY: I am considered very sweet and honest, caring and thoughtful. Intelligent and articulate when I need to be, silly and comical as often as I CAN be. Although I prefer some level of structure and organization, I am flexible and can easily change plans when needed.
Music and art, as well as any creative arts, are some of my greatest passions. I have many artistic and creative hobbies. I love not only to hear music but greatly enjoy singing, lyric and poetry writing. I have an appreciation for natural wonders; and while I am not a major outdoor activist, paddling in my kayak is incredibly rewarding and healing to me.
I have a special place in my heart for underdogs and the unwanted. : )
Although others have always seen me as resilient, able to be independent and a survivor, I still secretly long for the man I can someday rest on. That IS what God intended, after all.
WHAT MATTERS TO ME? I'll keep this response simple for the time being; God, of course, MUST be the center of our focus in ALL things, regardless of the subject or area in life.
Assuming that HE is before and above any potential relationship candidate; whether it is eventually love, or whether it is simple friendship with anyone (male or female), I really MOST prefer honesty in a person. What more solid thing can any relationship be built on? What can possibly create a more profound trust, assure greater sincerity, a higher dependability, a closer comradery or the assurance you will always know at least the truth and who will really be there for you? True honesty - it is also the greatest sign of respect and genuine caring - whether it is love between man and woman ... or even friendship among women.

Jamming with my family.

Art, drawing, crafting.
Musical events at coffeeshops.
Playing games like "Catch Phrase",

Photography.
Theater.
Reading.
Hugging.
Pulling in (or tryin' to like heck!) a whopping halibut!
Kayaking in mountain lakes.
Listening to the stillness of the outdoors.
Appointments to see the sun set.
Sleepy campfires.
Watching lightening and thunderstorms in the dark.
Soaking in the palette of colors in autumn.
Observing the dainty decline of snowflakes as they fall.
Snuggling on the couch in front of the fire with someone I care about (besides my dog).
P.S. - Did I mention music???
MUSICAL PREFERENCES: WORSHIP!!!! How I LOVE to worship! Also - Christian contemporary, oldies (both my generation and before), contemporary, jazz, classics, blues, classical instrumental, bluegrass, just about anything that moves the spirit!

First Date
I would prefer to establish friendships with other Christians whose life and lifestyles are centered on their faith and God.
I would like to meet others who are truly Christian; surrendering to God in their thought and practical life and who are striving to perfect this every day. I believe as Christians we should also be sharing our God insights and using our gifts for the benefit of others; and I hope that these things would hold a prominent place in the lives of potential friendships that I may acquire from this site.
