About Me
I have been born again for about 37 years and learned that failing forward is how us sheep arrive home ,heaven that is :). When we think we have it figured out~take heed lest we fall. :)
Music and singing is a huge part of my life as I have an ear for harmony as an alto singer. I truly believe that my mate will be musical and possibly sing so~~ that is a great place to start a conversation. If you hate to dance?~~We won't click too good cause I am a dancer in worship~~church~~the rain~~wedding receptions~~ and wherever else the music is~~
I believe in the baptism of love, but I don't like all the hype word of faith stuff... Just the simple gospel, I sang in my mothers womb, she heard me, singing and playing my guitar which I'm fairly new at, and serving others is my heart and I'm a bit of a revolutionist and can get fired up about the sheep getting abused but am teachable so can admit when I'm wrong.. never! just joking..
Blue jeans, boots and flip flops are fine with me but I can just as fast put on a classy outfit and go to the Cinderella ball in a chariot so yes, I'm versatile :)
I ruptured a disc in 93 at my full time job which is better~~ but I have to stay with part-time work that will not blow my disc again so I am pursuing writing and health coaching to help people not do what I did :)
Okay, I'm a goof but not a flake, a mixture of Lucille Ball, Goldie Hawn and Julia Roberts personalities rolled into one if that helps you out?~~ and can laugh as easily as cry and I know how to check the oil and do that car stuff a little but like to be treated like a princess cause I am one. Chronicles of Narnia is one of my favorites and I think there are some princes running around out there in the back 40 saying " my princess cometh" and will give Jesus to me and me to Jesus.. and he will be humble cause that is attractive.
I started writing a book about the bumpy journey I have had in life and how God brought me through it ~~ one thing is true~~ we all have some baggage and those who say they don't need a reality check~~the ground is level at the foot of the Cross and that is the intersection where I try to live~~ We would all be in heaven if we were all "baggage free"..... but I do think we need to be living in the now with SCARS and not "back then" with open WOUNDSs~~ so balance is the key :)...
Also, I believe the bible and everything it says about sex before marriage being a sin and seeking the same belief in a mate :)...See the forums for more of joey's musings on this~~ ~~ that does not mean Christian girlfriends or wives are not passionate or affectionate~~I take very good care of my man~~
I have four awesome children who are very wise and can discern pretty good if a" wolf" is near... and nine granchildren whom Nana adores
I do love music from the 70s like Neil Young, Buffalo Springfield, Cat Stevens, Moody Blues but I mostly listen to Gospel, and hymns (Selah style) and some Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, ya know a variety... God gave us wonderful music and it helps me through life.

First Date
I really like the water, summer,fall, thunderstorms, boats, beaches, pools, singing, dancing, Harleys, skydiving (just kidding! :) kids, animals etc. so just hanging out and talking around any of these is cool. A dinner, walking, pretty laid back but not a movie.. too hard to get to know someone at first.
