I am a single mother of one son (not in the picture with me) who will soon be graduating from high school; I have a bachelor's and a master's degree and for many reasons mostly revolving around my son I work in our small town.
I have been a youth leader for my church; I love working with the teens and small children (one of my favorite is in the profile picture with me) there is almost nothing more wonderful then being surrounded by children of all ages praising the Lord with complete abandon! Sigh, they hold nothing back but give all to the Lord!
I have many interests: I love classical movies for example "It's a Mad, Mad World"; "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" to some of the comedy movies of today including animation movies "Ice Age" or "Finding Nemo" come to mind (I just love how the characters can seem so life like).
I also enjoy reading and some of my favorites are the "The Left Behind" series and I just recently finished the book "The Shack" what an incredible read that was!
I have done a good deal of traveling; I have been overseas thanks to the military and honestly I dream of traveling some day to Australia and I have to go to Israel on perhaps one of the Christian cruises or one of those Christian package deals(?)..I only know that I want to go to this country more then anything that I have ever wanted to do in my life!
Which brings me to my greatest interest and my greatest love of all; my heavenly Father! I truly want to find the man that the Lord has meant for me to spend the rest of my life with, someone who will be my partner and friend. Someone who will laugh with me, pray with me and walk this narrow path beside me. I want a man who has a true relationship with the Lord not just a weekend relationship or something that is done out of obligation. If this man can and does have a relationship with the Lord, with Father God and if this man is you, then by all means, please get in touch with me!
