-to give up all for the sake of HIS KINGDOM.We all want more out of life.Young and old,our footsteps along life's shifting sands are guided by our inner guest for fuller life.We want to have more,be more,give more.Our search is much like that of James and John.Fishermen by trade,they walked up and down Galilee's seashore,seeking more in life than a good catch.One saw Jesus walked by.He sensed their longing and said simply:"come and walk with me,fellow me"(mark1:17).They did.As their footsteps joined HIS,they found His way a satisfying but difficult path.Walking with Jesus they found suffering,challenge,hardship and death.To their surprise,they also found peace,joy,meaning and fulfilment.They learnt that to walk with Jesus is to "walk in love"(Ephisians 5:21)
To walk with Him is to care about others ,to be compassionate and concerned.His way of finding more in life is a way of giving,serving,of sharing.It is a way of becoming more fully oneself by giving of self .
