About Me
I just got out of a fifteen year marriage a year and a half ago. My life revolved around my husband and children and I am now looking for people to talk to and make new friends. And...hopefully some day, something more. Honesty is very important to me and so is trust. I trully believe in the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would have them treat you.
I believe all enduring relationships are built of the foundation of friendship. I am not in a rush to find that special someone. I prefer face to face conversation and even talking on the phone, but I don't mind chatting and emailing at first to get to know someone. I am not interested in worldly men or worldly relationships. I want God's will for my life and I will remain patient and wait on Him.
I have four children, two boys and two girls. They are 17, 13, 8 and 6. We are surrounded by four Arkansas State Parks which we love to explore. We like going to the movies, swimming at the lake, picnics in the park, or having a bbq and playing in the front yard. My favorite is everyone crowding in the front room watching a movie on tv and eating popcorn. Although we are a very close family and enjoy doing many activities together, I like to take each of them out individually and do something with just the two of us. It has brought me closer to each of them, plus they get the individual attention they crave and need.
I have been saved for six years now, have taught our third grade Sunday school class for a little over five years. I am looking for men that choose to follow God, that get up every morning and go to bed every night, with Him first and last on their minds.
My favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5 & 6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path"
