What does God want ?Posted : 20 Aug, 2009 05:56 PMThe sermon on the mount answers this question.Matthew 5: 1-48; 6:1-34; and 7:1-27. also Mark12:29, And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Isreal; The Lord our God is one Lord: verse 30, And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:this is the first commandment. verse 31,And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 1 Thessalonians 5:16, Rejoice evermore.verse 17, Pray without ceasing. verse 18, In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. |
