Any TED fans here?Posted : 18 Sep, 2011 01:30 PMTED stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design. They have a website with a lot of videos about different inventions and ideas that people have been coming up with. I figured if people like Popular Science/Mechanics magazines, or like Modern Marvels (and other similar tv shows), they might also want to know about TED. A little while back they had the head of the U.N. food program (feeding the poor and etc) on, and I was surprised to hear some of the technology and info she was talking about. |

Any TED fans here?Posted : 18 Sep, 2011 04:08 PMI first heard about TED a couple months back, and ever since then I've been going on there at least once a week to see if there's anything that looks interesting. Lots of the time, there is. I would definitely have to echo the recommendation that anyone interested in this sort of thing check it all out. |
