prayer for my motherPosted : 7 Nov, 2007 05:49 PMI would appreciate any prayers on behalf of my mother, a 69 year old woman who, on Manday, had emergency surgery to repair 3 aortic aneuryms. The surgery involved a "installing" a new dacron aorta inside of her faulty aorta. It went off without complications. My mother does not know the Lord although a week ago I had an opportunity to share the gospel in great detail, bought her a Bible and a copy of C.H. Spurgeons' book "All of Grace. My mother read this book in it's entirety and admitted that she has something missing from her life. She is currently in Cardiac Care and is stable but weak. Please pray first that the Lord would save her and that he would give her more years on this earth to serve Him, and present her life as a testimony and trophy of His saving Grace. Thanks so much. |
