Don't sit at home and have a private pity-party; get out there and make something good happen for yourself! Head to your local historical society or museum. Go for a hike in God's beautiful world. Buy a birthday cake, make yourself a special dinner and watch a movie! Being alone isn't much fun, especially on one's birthday, but get up, get going and treat yourself the way you wish someone else would.
