I still do to this day, but they are getting harder to find. From a modesty standpoint, are slips under skirts and dresses necessary still? Post Reply

Posted : 30 Mar, 2016 12:34 PM I think that as a cultural symbol of modesty, the slip no longer means what it did, and no immodesty is inferred if you do not wear one. I am, though, not really sure about it because I am a guy. You might bet a better read on the situation if you ask the same question in "Ask a Girl." Post Reply

View Profile History	Should women still wear slips? Posted : 25 May, 2016 09:37 AM The rule I have made for my daughters conforms to hubbarddebra99's advice. Some summer skirts are so light you can see through them, especially if you are standing in front of a light source. If I can see through the skirt, I'd tell them to wear a slip. That's just my personal standard for my girls. Post Reply
