We need spiritual allies

The world is a tough place, parts of it much tougher than others. It is designed to wear on the Christian and draw him/her away from the Lord. We need all the spiritual support we can get. We are in spiritual warfare and need other christian soldiers around us to wage that war with us.

How can you come home to an intimate partner who cannot pray with you or support (or reprimand) you during a spiritual struggle? How can you raise Godly children in a divided home?

I take the spiritual war seriously. I take America's Left vs Right culture war seriously. We MUST have someone at our sides who is like-minded, to be our allies, to be our encouragers, to be our admonishers when we veer off.

Bronze,... your statement reminds me a bit of a video I once saw of a herd of wildibeasts being pursued by a predatory cat. One of them strayed from the rest and became dinner. Satan's pursuing us like that big cat (not that I think big cats are evil :)), and we need the "herd".
