Just for clarification, are you asking what makes a woman appealing/unappealing to a man? Or are you asking what we think we do that affects how women perceive us?

you could cite personal preference, accent, ethnicity, hair colour/length in fact think of anything that is common or individual about a female and it will be a yes thanks from one guy and a run fast from another.

if that wasn't bad enough even when you tick all the boxes we may think hmm somethings wrong......

OK does that sound like complexity ? welcome to the human race daughter of Eve

From initial attraction to where it builds interest to where the man loses interest can be any number of things. My guess is there was physical attraction and a nice smile then conversation ensued. If the woman states contradictory beliefs, that would be immediate turn off. If the relationship goes for some time before ending, it may be the man did not develop deep enough emotional attachment to keep him interested and motivated to continue the relationship.

It does take awhile to be around someone to see if they're mentally health (God gives a sound mind of self discipline 2 Tim 1:7). Many tend to put their best foot forward and treat you nice and then over time can take you for granted and be dimissive. That would turn a man off and cause him to leave.

To sum it up, lost interest because of lack of emotional development or red flags caused him to run.

The same things that make a woman do so. Hormones. That's a big one. Personality. Guys, most of us, do not like to be bossed around or told what to do (like what to wear, etc.). The other person may be juggling options (so-to-speak) and they find someone they feel is better... instead of saying anything they may just "turn off". Whatever it is, be sure it's a conversation they are having internally. They SHOULD tell you, but often times people are not honest even with themselves. So, don't expect them to be honest with you either. The best thing you can do is say that you feel they are pulling away and ask them why that is. It could be reasons you have no idea about (like being diagnosed with cancer a few days ago). It could be lies. It could be a lot of things. So, ask, talk about it, and if there is no conversation to be had... let them know you are moving on. Close doors and stay positive.
