Sabbath 3/10/18 Seventh Day Baptist of Edgewater, FL Pastor Keith sermon A Trustworthy Saying I Timothy 1:12-17

============================================================================================

There are a few wise sayings that can be called trustworthy sayings like: One day at a time, Waste not want not, Look before leaping, and What goes up must come down. In verse 15 it says Christ came into the world to save the world. There are three things we must remember from our text:

1) Salvation can come to the unbelieving person.

2) Mercy can come to the worst of sinners.

3) Glory will always come to the Lord.

There are people who have crazy ideas about God and some dont want to follow Him at all. But unbelievers can be saved. Paul said he was an unbeliever when he was called Saul. Saul was blasphemous but God was gracious and saw the good in Paul. No matter how unworthy we may feel, even the worst of sinners can be with Jesus. Salvation can come to the unbeliever.

Mercy can be given to the worst of sinners by Jesus. Jesus shows His patience toward us sinners and gives us mercy. Jesus came into the world to save sinners. He did not come to be the greatest teacher in the world even though He was. Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Period! Jesus shows us mercy because we are all sinners, we all need this mercy from God. God forgives us and has mercy for us all. We need to realize this. We, who used to be objects of Gods wrath, are now being shown Gods love, kindness and mercy. This is NOT because of what we have done but because of the Love of God.

In verse 17 it says Glory will come to the Eternal King God will receive Glory and Honor forever. He is all wise and powerful. God has redeemed us, saved us and deserves our praise. In Revelations, thousands of angels shout praise and honor to the Lord forever and ever. We should be offering up our praise and thanksgiving to the Lord too. We need to release our praise to God. We also need to release anything inside of us that we are holding onto. Release anything that is holding us back. Release it to the Lord! Maybe its a fear, a sin or a lack of forgiveness for someone. Release it to the Lord and let it go. Glory will come to the Eternal King.

AMEN

Hello, please stop posting these things,stop please.

Messiah did not come into the world to save 'sinners' , there is no such person in the Word of GOD Almighty.Let's get one thing straight, Messiah had come into this life to save SINFUL people.; as we are SINFUL.(Are you a 'sinner'because you sin, OR do you sin because you have a SINFUL nature.

GOD Almighty could not have seen the 'good' in Paul, because there is no one that is good not even one, ONLY GOD Almighty is 'GOOD'. ROMANS 7 verse 18 -

Unbelieveable, no wonder the 'christians' have no idea who Messiah is, or what HE is like according to the Scriptures.
