Oh to answer that question. Let's take a look at 1 timothy chapter 2 verses 9-10.

Overall though, verses 9-15.(I encourage and recommend to study or pm me to share the study with you because there's a lot of learning and understanding to do with these verses altogether :))

Here is to start,

These verses give guidelines(for the sake of the context but the reason for your question will be given after context is given here) for the women's place of public worship."With shamefacedness and sobriety" (or, with modesty and discretion"): the female has a divinely implanted desire to have a good appreciate, and Paul is not discouraging this. Instead, he is speaking against extravagant and ostentatious dress.

Example, in first words of verse 9 "adorn... modest apparel": the Greek word for "adorn" means "to arrange", "to put in order" or "to make ready". A woman is to arrange herself appropriately for the worship service, which includes wearing decent clothing which reflects a properly adorned chaste heart.
