Hi Jude,

You need to go a bit further as EVERY translation has many errors, let us take a look.

I will post 2 such Scripture from both the Old and 3 from the New covenants.

Psalm 37:1

A Psalm of David.

Do not fret because of evildoers,

Be not envious toward wrongdoers.

Psalm 37:2

For they will wither quickly like the grass

And fade like the green herb.

Psalm 37:3

Trust in the LORD and do good;

Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.

Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself in the LORD;

And He will give you the desires of your heart.

Verse 4 has been quoted by many people on this site without understanding what this verse actually says.

Delight, actually means to be SOFT or effeminate in YHWH,

Desire, means, request, petition, desire

Be soft (like clay) in YHWH, He will give desires IN your heart.

Jeremiah 29:1

Now these are the words of the letter which Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem to the rest of the elders of the exile, the priests, the prophets and all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.

Jer 29:2

(This was after King Jeconiah and the queen mother, the court officials, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen and the smiths had departed from Jerusalem.)

Jer 29:3

The letter was sent by the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, saying,

Jer 29:4

Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, to all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon,

Jer 29:5

Build houses and live in them; and plant gardens and eat their produce.

Jer 29:6

Take wives and become the fathers of sons and daughters, and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; and multiply there and do not decrease.

Jer 29:7

Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.

Jer 29:8

For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Do not let your prophets who are in your midst and your diviners deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams which they dream.

Jer 29:9

For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them, declares the LORD.

Jer 29:10

For thus says the LORD, When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

Jeremiah 29 verse 11 has been quoted by many people on this site without understanding who this had been written to. The Christians have been told this Scripture pertains to them BUT GOD Almighty had directed Jeremiah to write this to the rest of the elders of the exile, the priests, the prophets and all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon( verse 1).

How do we know this is not about the Christians, when did GOD Almighty to bring the Christians back into the land from where He had Exiled them.

Jeremiah 29:14

I will be found by you, declares the LORD, and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, declares the LORD, and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.

The following Scripture is not about living a disciplined life, as the pastors teach the people.

Mat 28:16

But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated.

Mat 28:17

When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful.

Mat 28:18

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

Mat 28:19

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

Mat 28:20

teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Verse 19 DISCIPLES should be LEARNERS OF ME.

μαθητεύω mathēteō, math-ayt-yoo'-o; from G3101; intransitively, to become a pupil; transitively, to disciple, i.e. enrol as scholar:be disciple, instruct, teach.

Make LEARNERS of me baptizing ( IMMERSING) them INTO the name of the Father, and the SON, and the Holy Spirit.

Baptizing is a verb in the Present participle ACTIVE tense, meaning something that had happened in the past and continues into the future, thus always being present in actuality.

The following Scripture has been taught as GOD Almighty bringing judgement against those that do not BEAR fruit.

How can GOD Almighty judge a person when Messiah has been judged in their place. What about Romans 8

Rom 8:1

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Rom 8:2

For the law of the Spirit of life]in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

Rom 8:3

For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

Romans 8:4

so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

IF GOD Almighty will judge a person because they do not BEAR fruit, then He violates His own Word.

What if the translation is wrong, then those which have been teaching JUDGEMENT instead of GRACE are FALSE TEACHERS.

John 15:2

Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.

John 15 verse 2 has been translated wrongly, and a word had been ADDED thus altering the meaning and purpose of the Scripture, thus Misrepresenting GOD Almighty.

In verse 2 the English word 'bear' should be translated ' CARRY'.

The English word AWAY was added and is NOT in the Greek text, which changes what GOD Almighty had empowered John to write.

The English word 'takes' is the Greek word 'airo' where we get the word AEROPLANE/ Airplane

This next Scripture speaks very clearly about Messiah being GOD, Yehowah, the I am, BUT we do not have that in the translations.

Many people have been told that Peter had taken his eyes off of Messiah, that is the reason he had begun to sink. The Greek text tells what really happened.

Mat 14:25

And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea.

Mat 14:26

When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, It is a ghost! And they cried out fear.

Mat 14:27

But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.

Matthew 14:28

Peter said to Him, Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.

Mat 14:29

And He said, Come! And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.

Mat 14:30

But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, Lord, save me!

Mat 14:31

Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, You of little faith, why did you doubt?

Let us ask the question, WHY did Peter leave the boat that he and the other disciples were in, while riding out a storm on the water.

Verse 27 Messiah says ' It is I,' in response to His LEARNERS becoming fearful when they saw Him walking upon the water their boats was being tossed about in during a storm.

Messiah does not say ' It is I ', but rather I AM do not FEAR.

Peter then asks IF it is you (the I AM ,This is implied within the language), then COMMAND me to come to you.

Messiah replies COME, the rest is what happened.

Extremely Satanic quotes by gracenotworkssaves:

"When anyone believes that the translations of men are the Word of GOD Almighty, then they are already deceived."

"**EVERY** translation {Except Mine}has many errors"

The followers of Satan like Gracenotworkssaves really hate it when you quote the Word of God. He claims that you have to be expert in Greek to understand the New Testament and that no English translations are inspired by God??? Since he is not a Greek scholar he will not even quote God's Word in Greek and then translate it into English!

I have never quoted the KJV version since it has many mistakes and is hard to understand since it is translated in 16th Century English!

**DOES GOD'S WORD SAY THAT *ADDING** OR **TAKING WORDS** AWAY FROM GOD'S WORD IS A SIN**??

Deuteronomy 4:2: The Lord said, "Do not **ADD** to what I command you and do not **SUBTRACT** from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you!!"

Deuteronomy 12:32: The Lord said, "See that you do all I command you, do not **ADD** to it or **TAKE AWAY** from it!!"

Proverbs 30:5,6: Every Word of God is **FLAWLESS**, He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him! Do not **ADD* to His Words, or He will rebuke you and prove you a **LIAR**!!

Deuteronomy 18:17-19: The Lord said to Moses, "I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among your fellow Israelites, and I will put My words in His mouth. He will tell them **EVERYTHING** I command Him. I Myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to My words that the Prophet speaks in My name!!"

John 14:21-24: Jesus says, "Whoever has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me... Anyone who loves Me will obey My teaching, My Father will love them, and We will come to them and make Our home with them.. Anyone who does not love Me will not obey My teaching. These words you hear are not My own; they belong to the Father who sent Me!" {See Deut 18:17-19 above}

Acts 5:32: We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given **TO THOSE WHO OBEY HIM**!"

Luke 6:46-49: Jesus says, "As for everyone who comes to Me and hears **MY WORDS** and **PUTS THEM INTO PRACTICE**. I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid foundation on rock. When the flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears **MY WORDS** and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete!"

I Peter 1:23-25: You have been **BORN AGAIN THROUGH THE LIVING AND ENDURING **WORD OF GOD**!! All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field, the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the **WORD OF THE LORD STANDS FOREVER**. And this is the **WORD** that was preached to you.

Matthew 24:35: Jesus says, Heaven and earth will pass away, but **MY WORDS WILL NEVER PASS AWAY**!"

I John 2:3-5: We know we have come to know Him {Jesus} if we obey His commands. The man who says, "I know Him," but does not do what He commands is a liar and the truth is not in him. But if anyone **OBEYS HIS WORD**, God's love is truly made complete in him!

Matthew 4:4: Jesus says, "Man does not live on bread alone, but on **EVERY WORD FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD**!"

Luke 8:15: Jesus says, "But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the **WORD**, retain it, and by perseverance produce a crop."

Colossians 3:16: Let the **WORD OF CHRIST** dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom!

I Thessalonians 2:13: We thank God continually because, when you received the **WORD OF GOD**, which you heard from us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the **WORD OF GOD**!

2 Timothy 2:15: Do your best to present yourselves to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who **CORRECTLY HANDLES THE WORD ** of truth!

2 Timothy 3:15,16: 4:1,2: You have known the **HOLY SCRIPTURES**, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. **ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD-BREATHED** and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I give you this charge: **PREACH THE WORD**!! {**WHICH IS THE ENTIRE NEW COVENANT AND NEW TESTAMENT**!!}

**DOES GOD"S WORD SAY THAT **ADDING** OR **TAKING WORD'S AWAY** FROM GOD's WORD IS AN UMPARDONABLE SIN**??

I warn everyone who hears the **WORDS OF THE PROPHECY OF THIS BOOK**: If anyone **ADDS** {Like the RC popes} anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this Book {Including **ETERNAL HELL**} And if anyone **TAKES WORDS AWAY** {Like the RC popes} from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the Tree of Life and in the Holy City {The New Jerusalem}, which are described in this book."

THE GREAT COMMISSION: Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus says, All authority in heaven and on ***EARTH*** has been given to Me {Not some RC Pope}. Therefore go and make disciples of *ALL NATIONS*...teaching them to **OBEY EVERYTHING** I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very *END OF THE AGE*!

Very fascinating topic!

I’ve wanted to start a similar topic thread for sometime. For now, I’m working to aquaire a balanced treatment of the subject so I can speak accurately and with a modicum of authority. Sadly there’s a lot of ignorance out there, on the internet and even in books, that flagrantly misleads. One of the most egregious books ever published on this topic was written by Gail Riplinger. She’s a rabid King James only advocate who ignores the history of textual transmission, research and translation. She routinely distorts the facts throughout her book with false information. She dishonesty misquotes dedicated textual authorities who’ve articulated the facts meticulously and with the greatest of care.

One would think if the case for the King James Only position is so well established, why would an author produce misleading information in its defense??

In Philadelphia a.k.a Filthadelphia, the NIV was known as the Non Intelligent Version, as this was more of a paraphrase than a translation. Also there were many verses removed from the NIV with the footnotes saying Not in the original texts

He will only quote Scripture that believes has a big mistake.

Most conservative evangelical Greek scholars believe the 1984 NIV, the NASB and the ESV or English Standard version are the most accurate translations.

The 2011 NIV version has several problems:

The inspired Greek manuscripts refer to all born again Christian saints as **BROTHERS** about 50 times. Whereas the 2011 NIV version always translates **BROTHERS** as **BROTHERS AD SISTERS**.

The 2011 has much more serious mistakes in the book of Revelation:

Note: 666 or the Man of Sin is called a Beast 36 or 6X6 times in Revelation.

666 and his False Prophet always have **MASCULINE PRONOUNS** in Revelation. Whereas the 2011 NIV version always wrongly uses the pronoun *IT** when referring to the Beast and his False Prophet. This is probably because the majority of the 2011 NIV translators wrongly have a very symbolic Reformed view of Revelation.

Other than these 2 mistakes the 2011 NIV is fairly accurate but I always prefer the 1984 NIV version when their is a slight difference.

Its still wrong for Christians to be suspicious of other Christians just because of the Bible translation they carry to church. The tribalism needs to stop. All Bible-loving-and-reading Christians need to learn to see the value in all good Bible translations.

People who use the NIV exclusively need to also see the value of the NASB and the ESV. People who use the ESV exclusively need to discover the help the 1984 NIV and NASB can provide. And people who use the NASB exclusively need to see some of the more meaningful translations the 1984 NIV provides.

Gracenotworkssaves apparently does not believe any Bible translations are inspired by God since he never quotes the Word of God just like Satan.

Matthew 4:4 Jesus says to Satan, "Man does not live by bread alone but by **EVERY WORD** from the mouth of God.
