After some real thought, I truly believe that just like the rib cage protects our heart, man is supposed to protect the woman. A man should make his woman feel safe. He should be willing to be broken before he allows her to be damaged. I Have no proof but I firmly believe the rib simply symbolizes protection. When a man finds the woman who he truly believes is his missing rib, he'll walk through Hell for her. ................................................................. Genesis 2:21-23 (AKJV) 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 and the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
