While it’s possibe for a non-believing husband to express or “show love” to his wife a Christian must purpose to love God first and then prove it by truly loving the woman in his life.



The Bible says a man should “give himself up for his wife just like Christ did for the church to make her holy”.



Now that’s a tall order!!



Lots of self-discipline required on that one to keep that first-love alive once the excitement of first meeting up wears off.



All that emotional excitement at the beginning is meaningless if it’s subject to growing cold.



True love forgives and forgives and forgives. It overlooks rudeness and insults and loves when love isn’t returned.



WHOA!! I just put myself under serious conviction!! I can sure gush all these marvelous platitudes. But living it all out is another story. God help!!!
