Do you drive ? Have a car and licensed to drive?

Do you live alone ?

There are many who don't!

This is an important question to me!

It maynot make a difference for many people.

Most older people look for partners secure in responsibility.

Unfortunately, many maynot even answer!☺️

Many older people lack the vision, reflexes, etc., to drive.

Many consider a car an unnecessary financial expense.

Personally, I walk, bicycle, ride the bus, and occasionally take a taxi, rent a car, or ride with friends.

I know people who work honest jobs who walk, bicycle, or bus to and from work.

I also hear rumors about persons with expensive cars who paid for them with money gotten illegitimately or who are still paying on their cars and are a few paychecks from having their cars repossessed.

With Uber, Lyft, taxis, buses, planes, rental cars, etc., many living in large cities find cars unnecessary.

To me financial stability and good money management is more important than whether or not a person owns a car.

However, I realize many girls from high school age onward seek a man with a car to take them places.

I can understand older people living in large City maynot have a car.

Expensive for gas, parking even.

However, in small more rural places there is no taxies, Uber, L train.

So then they have to depend on other people, whether family or friends. Co-workers , etc.

Having a vehicle is an expense but so are most things, like clothes. Food, place to live, entertainment like Tv. even if you have a roommate in your older age.

I could not function well without a car. I don't depend on others to get me to the grocery store, doctor, or concert. But then, I live in a rural area...so no bus or taxi here. for me, a car is a necessity.

In rural areas a car is more necessary than in urban areas.

But, even in rural areas a car is less important than basic necessities like food and housing, especially if one lives near a grocery or has good friends, relatives, and/or neighbors with a car nearby.

There are also people under 50 and younger who don't drive.

Then if they get married or in a long-term relationship with a mate that doesn't drive. Then what ?
