Hello,

Too many men come out of the seminaries with a piece of paper, calling themselves ' pastors '- ( Greek-poimen,meaning shepherd), have never shepherd anything, this is a self proclaimation which the people are not able to see in their lives.

The Scriptures, not the government nor the seminaries tell believers who qualify to be recognised as ELDERS, not a pastor, as the Elders( plural ) not a pastor ( singular ) are to have the oversight of the believers.

When the people come back to what the Scriptures say, then the people might begin to see how far they have walked away from GOD Almighty.

A Pastor is one who is "called" to that ministry. I take issue with the fact that we seem to have stopped using the term, "calling" to have a better understanding of how a position in the Body of Christ is made. We are to answer the high calling of God. It was never supposed to be a Purpose Driven Life, which one could claim for themselves, or a church could invent for you, depending on how they 'feel'. You are supposed to be instructed by the Holy Spirit and enter your calling through the grace and goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ. When He calls we are to answer. It is not a self imposed position, but an answer to the call.

Hi Evangeline,

There seems to be a mistake with the understanding the church people have abiut the Word of GOD Almigjty concerning the FUNCTION of pastors ( plural ).

Let's look into the Scriptures to see what GOD Almighty has to say about this.

Ephesians 4 verses 11 - 13



Notice in verse 11 HE YASHUA, GAVE not called people to FUNCTION in the capacity of Apostle, prophet, evangelsis, pastor / teacher.

The people should see people moving in these functions without them needing a peice of paper from government approved schools.

11 And He gave apostles, and prophets, and evangelists, and pastors and teachers,

12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
