There is God, which refers to Yahweh, and there is god which is more general and might refer to a false god. According to the context, Quiznos was correct to use god. He doesn't think that you and worship The True God. He thinks, instead, that you worship a false idea of God. Post Reply

There are several places in scripture that appear to speak about the omniscient God testing people to “know” them. Let’s see, first there’s Genesis 22:12 "Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son." Them there’s Hezekiah, “And even in the matter of the envoys of the rulers of Babylon, who sent to him to inquire of the wonder that had happened in the land, God left him alone only to test him, that He might know all that was in his heart," (2 Chron. 32:31) I guess I could go on with other examples but, oh well, why bother with facts when all you need is religious tradition. Add to bucket list. Ask Quiznos if he’s ever heard of an anthropomorphic expression. Post Reply
