How long is too long...?

Most people now days date for about 2 years before getting married Christian couples included.

Which makes me wonder one of two things, either they're are already sleeping together.

Or the man has no physical attraction/sexual interest in the woman to want to wait so long.

For me 6 months to a year is ample time for a man to know if he wants to marry...:-)

Well if they are truly a Christian couple then they shouldn't be sleeping together while they are dating .

Oh I agree with you 100 percent and I'm not saying that they are doing that.

But it's something I do wonder when seeing Christian couples who date for many years before getting married..:-)

Ohh well, I value Filipino tradition and I wouldn't sleep together with my bf until he marry me.

For me it's not bad to date for 2 years or more. It would give you ample time to get to know each other☺️

Sometimes, man wants to marry but he can't afford to in just 6 months.

Anyway, "waiting is too long for those who are in a hurry"

You're a young woman so I can understand that waiting 2 years wouldn't be a problem for you.

But as an older woman I wouldn't date a man for more than a year without marriage being the next step.

It's not about being in a hurry but being mindful, that if the man doesn't intend to marry you.

However many years you spent dating him are years wasted...:-)
