Sometiems it's obvious, but what may seem like obvious signs from you are not always so obvious to her. There is nothing wrong with coming out and saying it. Most of the time knowing someone's intentions is quite a relief, even if the interest is not mutual. Post Reply

Posted : 20 Dec, 2007 09:17 PM Yeah i guess womens know when a guy like them or not.Womens are smart in this:) It is easy to read guys mind and its easy to know if he is interested or not . But for telling about feelings i think a man have to tell the women that he is interested. Posted : 12 May, 2008 07:59 AM interesting question...for me, there have been ... 3 times recently that I *thought* a guy/man was interested in me (3 different men), they were definitely giving me signals and spending time with me, talking to me a lot, being really sweet, etc....only for the each to turn around and start dating someone else...the last one just got engaged a month later. So for me, the subtle signals a guy can give off have kind of been ruined because how do I know it's not going to happen again and all this time that I've been detecting interest, he's only had me as a "buddy" in mind? I'm pretty confused at this point, so for me, I'm going to need it spelled out I think... Post Reply

Posted : 27 Oct, 2008 11:20 PM Perhaps this may seem old fashioned but I believe in chivalry and that a true gentleman and child of God made ready to be a priest in his home and following God's leading will make his intentions known even if it means he is taking the risk of being rejected. Isn't this in fact what God did when He created Adam and Eve and granted them choice. By trusting them to guard and preserve the very children who would be born to make up the members of His Body and Bride, He laid everything on the line. Fortunately God knew they would fail and never left anything to chance for He was slain before the foundations of the earth and therefore, forsaw their fall, the introduction of death, and the kidnapping of His children and Eternal Purpose by His enemy. By dying even before death had ever come into existence He pulled the teeth of death before it was ever born. That deep sleep that God put Adam into is actually a picture of the slaying of the Lamb of God which took place before time began. As Adam laid down his life for his bride, Eve, so did God lay down His Life for His Bride, first before time then thousands of years later by entering time and dying on the cross. Just as Eve was taken from Adam's side, so was God's Bride taken from God's side first outside of creation then later when Jesus was stabbed in the side by the Roman's spear. The Blood and Water that flowed from His Side was in actuality the Blood that would purge us of our sins making us acceptable in the Beloved and the Water was the Spirit of God which not only was the power which would raise Him from the dead setting us free from Adam's curse but also would set us free by indwelling and uniting us to form the Body or Bride for which He longed and risked everything. His Eternal Purpose for creating. We as men have been given this same desire and by His Spirit we shall know her who is our rib and will declare along with Adam and God, "There she is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh/There She is Spirit of my Spirit and Heart of my Heart." This is how our brides will know, when we as men submit to God and seek Him with all our hearts that He may give us the desires of our heart. This granting of our desires shall come only after we place Him first and learn to hear His Voice and follow His leading to our perfect bride and "soulmate". Only the will she know and the risk of rejection will not be a true risk for God has led us to her and has in fact uniquely built her for us. Then she will walk side by side with us as a true helpmate. Post Reply

Posted : 8 Feb, 2009 02:42 PM To throw a monkey wrench into the situation, I think that women find it difficult to tell when a man is genuinely interested also since women get bombarded by aggressive male advances for the wrong reasons. I tend to second guess when a man with the right intentions approaches in a respectful manner because I am so used to the overly aggressive, over the top...lust driven response, and the a good man does not act that way, which makes me wonder if he is really interested. I know it sounds cliche, but I bet some women here understand what I mean. I know I do....I dont react on things that are just jester or flirting because so many do this . I think of it just being in the moment. I dont act on just my intuition because it can be really out of tune these days because of how men play around. It does make a woman second guess herself and looses all self respect for any good man out there trying. Post Reply

I can always tell if the guy like her...but when it comes to myself, that is a different story. I am horrible about being able to tell if a guy like me or not. I might think that he likes me...but then it turns out that he only likes me as a friend...nothing more than just that. Post Reply

Posted : 21 Oct, 2011 04:33 PM yes. i think they know instinctively. but women to us are still very much a mystery to us guys. i talk to women who are very much interested in me, i find out later.but at the time i am completly oblivious to they're advances, i'm so tired of (the game) won't some body just come right out and say it, either we are adults or we are not. i just can't figure it out, can you?
