It takes less than a minute. Work this out as you read. It's Fun. 1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat. ___ Choose more once but less than 10) 2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)! __ X 2 = 3. Add 5 4. Multiply it by 50 5. If you have already had your birthday this year add,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,1758 If you haven't,,,,,add 1757. 6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number. The first digit of this was your original number. (I.e., How many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.) The next two numbers are YOUR AGE ! ------ hummmm, hummmm. This is the only year (2008) it will work! Post Reply

I did really good until step 5, 450+1757=me blown-away for now. It is still early, :nahnah: I push mowed the law (an acre grass was really high) yesterday, cleaned the pool (20x40), and I ache a little. :excited: My coffee (caffine) hasn't quite circulated to my brain, yet. :zzzz: So, yes I must confess--I scrolled :bow: (contrite heart) I'll be back, when everythings working :boxing: and do my mathhh. Multiply this number by 100 3. Now subtract 2008 with the four digit year that you were born. 4. Add the results of step 2 and step 3, You should have a three digit number. The first digit of this was your original number. (I.e., How many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.) The next two numbers are YOUR AGE ! ------ hummmm, hummmm. You might say"you idiot, 2008 minus the year i was born is exactly my age", well, you are right, this is the trick. The whole caculation is just to multiply the dinnerout time number with 100 and add to your age. Suppose your dinnerout time is 2, then the whole formular is (2x+5)*50+1758 = 100x + 250+1758=100x + 2008 and of course 2008 - the year you were born is your age. Post Reply
