But your post also indicates you possess very little knowledge concerning Bible translation. You're probably unaware of the Bible translations that preceded the King James Version. You would do well to fill yourself in on all the details.

Are you acquainted with biblical teaching differentiating the kinds of spirits? If you haven't already done so, I encourage you to commit to a careful study from a biblical perspective

I pray you find some friends who love the Lord and I pray you find a qualified teacher/pastor who actually reads and understands the Bible and who cares for you enough to counsel with you from the of Word of God. Good fellowships (churches) are very hard to find. Too many "pastors" hardly bother to care for the spiritual needs of their own people or even to study the Bible well enough to encourage and train people from it.

You insist miracles, prophetic dreams and such are taking place today but you don't provide the appropriate justification. You quote Heb 13:8, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever...", to proof-text your proposition but you ignore the original context for that verse. If indeed "miracles and dreams" are happening today, as you contend, where are they taking place?? If Heb13:8 applies the way you insist, then show us the crowds of people now experiencing INSTANTANEOUS healing, as in the days Jesus!! As you should know, "Jesus went about healing ALL manner of sickness and ALL manner of disease..." Matt 9:5. Jesus healed ALL who came to him. No one was turned away!! NOT ONE!! Now, in light of that, let's consider today's "miracle healings". Many people attending modern "healing" services are not healed or are sometimes turned away. Furthermore, those supposedly experiencing "miraculous" healings share characteristics similar to the experiences of placebo participants. Placebo "healings" are therefore nothing less than a mere "sugar-pill-healing". Thus, modern manifestations of "miracles" are on level with other kinds of hit-and-miss or false healings experienced by or that typify false miracles associated within psychic, witchdoctor, shaman and hypnotic healing circles! Prince007, I ask you: how do placebo "healings", so distinct from actual biblical healing, bring glory to God!? If Jesus' healings are indeed no different than hypnotic "healings" then modern observers must conclude that Jesus' healings are not so special or different than psychic healings !!! You can not aviod entrapment by this kind of bad-bind thinking whenever you create your own definition of miracle. Look to the Bible only!! The Bible clearly distinguishes the miraculous!

Unfortunately, not all past revivals were God honoring, some simply originated from the heart of sinful human imagination--enter the Seymour revival. Such false revivals are often accompanied by false signs, false miracles and false mesasges. Even orthodox revivalists, some of whom you mentioned, complained about false signs and false miracles taking place under their noses as false prophets invaded meetings and tried to seize glory for themselves. Paul the Apostle observed the same as he encountered false apostle/teachers. As for the gypsy revivals and revivalists you mentioned, I have no comment until I do some fact checking.
