WalkNTalk View Profile	Was false teacher Billy Graham right when he implied doctrine isn’t important, just have love⁉️ Posted : 23 Apr, 2024 10:02 AM Yes, we are to watch our doctrines. (1 Timothy 4:16) Billy Graham is not the standard. Christ is. John the Baptist was not the standard. Christ is. We all blunder in speech. We all say things that are off. If people take a fine tooth comb to us, fault will be found. David was found innocent even while eating the consecrated bread which was lawful only for the priests to do, and Jesus said not to condemn the innocent. I think God has said to Billy Graham, "WELL DONE. ENTER IN." True! "Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings." (Hebrews 13:9) Good you catch Billy Graham on some things. No one is perfect. We all need correction. But somethings are petty. In one place, Paul says that the important thing is that Christ is being preached. In another place, he spoke a curse on anyone who preach anything different from what he preach. Doctrines differ from people to people. Some doctrines get pretty strange. But rather than quarrel over doctrines, I am sure Billy Graham wished to give emphasis to the Good News and Christ's teachings on love which fulfills the Law. There are many matters and many Bible matters and many opinions. Billy Graham wished to focus on souls and harvesting souls and bringing folks to Christ, then it is up to you to work out your own salvation as it were after the knowledge of Christ. Billy Graham is just a seed planter who helped in the harvest as well.

It is idiocy the idea that Israel should turn the other cheek to Hamas. It is barbaric and appalling what Hamas has done and using aid money to dig tunnel networks and to teach children to hate Israel and death to Israel and to buy missiles to attack Israel -- all with our loving gift money and misdirected funds. We support the terrorists by giving them money unchecked. I do not agree with any two-state solution, and I do not agree with sending money or humanitarian aid to terrorists. It makes no sense. Too bad what is going on! Wars and rumors of wars! We will see when God makes Christ's enemies into his footstool. These things have our attention. I see it becoming worse before it gets better.
WalkNTalk View Profile	I don't belong in this world Posted : 23 Apr, 2024 09:20 AM Yes, we are old foolish men being on the site. Yes, we have problems finding women or decent women. I believe there are none to find. Unless we grossly lower our standards to something we don't want. Why bother? Yet here we are wasting our time and wasting our words hoping for someone half our age that will not divorce us and take us to the cleaners and make us worse off for having even looked. We are relational beings. It is in us to look while we be and while we are still alive. These sites are not the perfect place to meet a person. Nor is church. Nor any place. Perhaps easier while we were young. But when young, we let time slip by. Then we are not young any longer, but old. So all of us are aging even while we are on here. I guess we all need better pursuits for time. Hopefully, we find some meaningfulness here. Unlikely we will meet many in person. I had gone to the other side of the world four times for words. Others make an investment as well. In hindsight, I had my life more together before I was ensnared by the world wide web. The internet is just another way to waste time and more the success stories may be scammers.

Since the covid over-response, I began watching Christian television and some of the people I would listen to have died. The world is not our home; we're just passing through. Yes, some of us have hopes in this life and we never see the manifestation of some of the things we long for and hope for, but the idea of heaven is better than what this old earth has to offer.

Those of varying orientations seem welcome here as well. Conservatives and Liberals are both on the site and people with varying directions. Some who are conscious of the Bible and some who are less conscious of the Bible. So, we got a variety here. Good we can choose age ranges and good we can block. Good we can block smokers if we so choose and good we can block drinkers if we so choose. Some of us would choose to block more categories of people were we given the option. Some would block some forms of Christianity. It is what it is. Anyway, we are all here and we all have choices. Republicans and Democrats and who knows whatever. Hopefully you all have better success here than I.

Regardless, most definitely, A.I. is here in the form of algorithms and search engine. Artificial Intelligence is definitely on the site and on our devices and in our computers and on the internet. The extent is becoming more and more. Artificial Intelligence is gathering and collecting information and directing us various directions and steering us away from some directions.
