Why are Religious People Doing This and That?
Posted : 14 Jul, 2014 02:16 AM

Sometimes when I think of this alcohol issue I ask myself, "we are servants of God,if we get drunk, and something happens that requires our attention prayerfully, can we be able to deal with the situation in that state?

We are in the work of God all the time, isn't it just right to be sobber for the work that we are called for?

I'm not condemning or judging...Like if you have taken some two glasses of wine, and a neighbour comes with a sick child and needs you to help in prayer for that kid, would you be able to pray a real prayer for the kid,a prayer that can make that kid well?

I just believe as servants of God we are supposed to be in prayer all the time.We have so much to do.

Profiles with pictures but w/o "About Me"

I agree that more information is good on a profile, but I feel you get to know someone when you communicate.Whatever one puts on the profile some times is very fake.I have talked to guys whose behaviour is very different from the sweet person they have written about on their profiles.

So when I contact someone,I don't go by what they have written on their profile but what we teel each other as we get along.

I just make sure they are christians then the rest I learn as we talk.

His care and love never endures

His care and love endures forever.

I thought maybe thats what you mean though you say "never endures".He is always there for us.

Even as we live in this sinful world,He loves us with an everlasting love.

He sacrificed His only son for our sins.

His love endures forever.

I agree with you brother.

She is an amazing woman.Sometimes I read a post and don't know what to say and the first thing I check is whether she has contributed to the post, then I can get ideas.

Good to note that.

She is a blessed woman of God.

My heart is broken and I'm all alone.

Messenger11,

Sorry for what is happening in your life.I understand exactly how you feel and what you are experiencing right now.

Just as HisJoyMypiece has said, trust in God,always remember that He will never forsake you.I know its not even easy to pray while you are there but knell down and just tell God to have mercy on you and to ease the pain.

I went through the same in 1996 and I know it can be painful. The feelings you have now are normal.Feeling that the person loves you yet don't understand why she is doing that.

When you feel low just pray, when you talk to friends choose those who are possitive, those who give some strength to your heart.

And even when you hear negative things, because at this time you will hear very hurting things from friends or people close to you, just don't take them to heart.Let go all negatives and focus forward and to the future, believing all will be well.

Even when you pass through the valley of death our God is faithful and will never forsake you.

Take heart my brother.

Remember it has happened to others and they have conquered, you will too.

Another thing, don't rush to get into any relationship until you are completely healed.Though its good to have friends who understand you.At this time you are very vulnerable and can get hurt easily.

I don't like writing too much but hope it helps.
