The stranagle hold that the deep state had is being reduced (one finger at a time!)

Back in about Augest 2024 The Supreme Court struck down "Chevron Deference".

-The end of Chevron deference means that federal courts are no longer required to defer to agency interpretations of ambiguous laws; instead, they must interpret the laws themselves. This shift, resulting from the Supreme Court's ruling in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, significantly reduces the power of federal agencies in regulatory matters.-

(But that was the removal of one of the fingers)

-Humphrey's Executor v. United States (1935) was a Supreme Court case that ruled Congress can limit the President's power to remove officials from independent agencies, like the Federal Trade Commission, unless there is cause such as inefficiency or misconduct. This decision established that certain agencies have a degree of independence from executive control, which has been a significant aspect of administrative law.-

(So is Humphries executor done away with?)...Not YET!

-Humphrey's Executor has not been officially overturned, but the Supreme Court is currently reviewing cases that could potentially alter or limit its precedent. A decision is expected in December 2025 that may impact the ruling's applicability to independent agencies-

The following article is somewhat outdated, but it shows that more and more sensible democrats are concerned and are not wanting to share a name with the radical policies that the democrat socialists are wanting.

I would like to shake the hands of such individuals and while they might feel out of place inside the republican party...I would like to remind them that becoming an independent is an attractive option!

The 'news media' does not report 'The news story' instead people only hear 'their news story' (they tend to loudly speak the words that they want us to hear...and softly the media will say what they do not want people to know)

For example, the actual news story is 'there was a fire in a building' But the media will loudly let you know what they think. So what gets reported says 'a fire was reported to occur possibly linked to foul play says some annalist'

The direct answer to your question is "some people only pay attention to the story that is shouted the loudest"

-Trump issued an order in February for federal agencies to go after “waste, bloat, and insularity” in the bureaucracy.

The Department of Government Efficiency has helped the Trump administration implement hiring freezes and has implemented layoffs to cut unnecessary spending.

The deferred resignation program was offered to federal workers in February, called the Deferred Resignation Program. Employees had the choice of accepting a resignation package or risking a future layoff.

The resignation package offered federal employees salary payments until the end of September. Over 200,000 workers chose to receive full salary and benefits for up to eight months while on administrative leave-

Most people could easily stand the goverment being shutdown for a year.

One of the odd things is that the entire idea behind elected representation is so that everyday people do not have to spend our time babysitting the issues...so many of the elected representatives have already failed. Why would I want to spend more money so that the crazy 'representatives' can come to there senses?
