There are people that say that they do not like the direction things are headed in, but I am not sure what direction that those people would like things to travel. Its like a teaching that I learned a few years ago...I have no right to be disappointment in the outcome of an event unless I can define how I wanted things to happen.

U.N. Says It’s in Danger of Financal collapse

So...I guess that they are going to cancel there plans for 2030.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a global framework adopted by United Nations member states in 2015, consisting of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aimed at ending poverty, protecting the planet, and ensuring prosperity for all by the year 2030. It emphasizes the interconnectedness of social, economic, and environmental sustainability.

I an watched an interview where the ceo of "Old Glory Bank" was being asked about his opinion concerning the direction that the job market is traveling in.

I would like to repeat his position: people were told in the 1990's 'learn to write computer codes' or at least go to college an get some sort of white collar job'. But now the recomendation is that people learn some type of trade, like an electritian, or a plummer. Technology is not yet able to send a robot to a job site and have the robot wire your house, also robots are not yet able to preform plumming work, however ai is able to write computer codes by using a website called "base44.com"

Recently I was watching a t.v. show where a quilt was being made. At a certain point the host noted that some of the stitches did not properly line up. 'Flaws/imperfections' are normally a hallmark sign of something that is not mass produced. I have thought a little about it and machines typically make everything the same. It is my belief that in the future many of the products will all be the same. So currently speaking giving someone a hand made scarf that contains a noticeable flaw might be seen as a 'mistake' but in the future the flaw might be valued!

I guess you can say that the u.n. was only able to function because it had somehow tricked/trapped America into being its sugar daddy.

-The world body warned it would run out of money by July and have to close its New York headquarters if countries, namely the United States, did not pay annual dues that amount to billions of dollars.-

I already submitted my aplication 1 or 2 years ago...but I will re-afirm my resolve "I would consider it a pleasure to drive the wreckingball that smashes down that building"

Thats a great question. In short the answer is 'it depends'. I do not claim to fully understand how everything will work but I will understand.

For the last period of time (say) 6,000 years most people have been on similar pages. However circumstances will not be like that forever.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIk3su-0SG8

the above has been drawn on prophecy rock. (although my interpretation might not be the typical interpretation I will share the view) Some people will gladly except the opertunity to be less and less human...but there is another group of people that say science and ai are nice however that is not going to stop me from being human, I will continue to do things like plant corn and potatoes. I reject the 'primrose path of ease'. I do not need a machine to carry me around rather I will walk if I am able!

So the answer to the question "Where will the science take us?" is it depends...I plan on accepting new science like I take cough syrup. However some people throw caution to the wind an drink from the bottle

THE FUTURE AND JOBS
Posted : 31 Jan, 2026 05:34 PM

I enjoyed learning that you used to be a postal employee! You are correct about the world becoming more and more automated. In my opinion this fact brings up a few important issues. (Normally I would be against the idea of universal basic income because in the past the idea was closely associated with communism...but in the not to distant future machines will do most of the work.)

Question #1 people need to ask themselves is 'How would I spend my time if money was not an object? For example, if machines were able to plant and pick food some farmers and gardeners would stop working so hard...I enjoy the challenge.

This leads to another important point, in the past good while society has entermingled the ideas of needing to work and therefore work is bad. But work is not a bad word its a scientific word that means a push or pull on an object.

I know people that have "retired" and they think that doing whatever they want will be fun, and it might be for a few months. But what retirement boils down to is being able to be a self starter.

But some people are convinced that work is bad so I guess the future of thoes people will be like the people in the movie Wall-e

-The people of Earth ride around this space resort on hovering chairs which give them a constant feed of TV and video chatting. They drink all of their meals through a straw out of laziness and/or bone loss, and are all so fat that they can barely move.-

Its intresting that you bring up WWII, it apears that the war was more like a comma than it was a period.

I am trying to point out that the manufacturing capabilities that America had has bee purposefully destroyed. This put America in a very intresting position...this country still consumes a massive amount of products. (I am trying to point out the albatros that was created. This country has always consumed alot of stuff, all that was done is 'nefarious individuals' created conditions so 95% of Americas manfacturing base went overseas. Until recently Americans were forced to buy stuff that was made over seas. What president Donald J. Trump did was he cut off the spigot that led into the wallets of other countries. If we look at the law of supply and demand...the demand, inside America, for stuff has always been high but bad guys made it so the stuff was only made elsewhere.

The law of supply and demand is an economic principle stating that the price of a good or service is determined by the relationship between its availability (supply) and the desire for it (demand). When supply exceeds demand, prices tend to fall, while prices rise when demand exceeds supply, aiming for an equilibrium where the quantity supplied matches the quantity demanded.

The example will be a new car, all that Trump had to do was say 'if the car is made in another country (say Mexico) then the manufacture has to pay a finders fee for the privileged of being able to compete in the American economy'

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2025/mar/28/donald-trump/fact-checking-donald-trump-on-whether-automobile-p/

Here is the question, sure you can build a plant in Mexico, the company can hire cheap construction workers and hire workers that proably have more relaxed proctive policies...but at the end of the day your main customers are U.S. citizens. In the past corporations were allowed to beat up on Americans (look at Detroit), but Trump said "thats what you think your gonna do"

Its the same deal as a parking ticket...you are allowed to park your car in numerous places, but if you do not follow the rules (like parking in a fire lane) then you will recieve a ticket.

In the same way Americans are pretty nice (consider all of the aid poor people can recieve) but in times past bad people wanted to treat people badly so that they could become richer.

That is the point where the rubber meets the road, capitalism can be an extremly brutal system unless certain gaurdrails are created...the basic principle is "treat people well". As I have said certain bad men thought that it did not matter how they treated people...as long they recieve more money. EX. you can build your car plant in a country that does not have strict saftey rules for the workers and you can make the best cars that are low cost...but if you try to cut corners in America then you will be finned (companies that have shady business ethics are finned if they want to do business with Americans)

America is in an enormously powerful position...if the president says 'companies must have steller business practices if they want to compete with U.S. workers'. Basicly that sentence sectioned off 27.5% of the consumers, so its whose side is it gonna be? If your a salesman one sale makes up over 1/4 of your profits.

As of 2025, the United States accounts for approximately 27.49% of the global GDP.

(Feel free to ask questions, I enjoy talking about proper economics!)

We are all humans and humans make mistakes...but when a person repeatedly keeps making the same type of mistakes then its time to reassess the situation. Maby the other person is not making mistakes instead maby they intend on sailing there boat in a different direction than what you want to go.

the media is helping to build a 'bomb' by reporting half truths

Hypocrisy has been allowed to exist for quite a while, but what is diffrent about this time around is that the bad actors bluff has been called.

A very good real life example is the silver & gold market. For multiple years the big banks have 'over levered' themselves. For example they owned 1 ounce of gold...but they "sold' their one ounce of gold to 80 or 90 people. In the minds of the bankers every one could buy 1 ounce of gold from them...every one gets a nice piece of certified* paper that says that they are the owner of one ounce of gold that is "safely" being stored in a vault in (some state)

It was a clever shell game but currently a gun is being pointed at the dealer and the guy with the gun is demanding that all 3 shells are turned over.

I am fairly certain that you are able to find someone that has bought a few ghost shares. But very soon the piper will need to be paid!

The Pied Piper of Hamelin, also known as the Pan Piper or the Rat-Catcher of Hamelin, is the title character of a legend from the town of Hamelin, Lower Saxony, Germany. The legend dates back to the Middle Ages. The earliest references describe a piper, dressed in multicoloured clothing, who was a rat catcher hired by the town to lure rats away with his magic pipe. When the citizens refused to pay for this service as promised, he retaliated by using his instrument's magical power on their children, leading them away as he had the rats.
