The sun shines overhead as the day dawns and as I consider the path that lays ahead I have to smile. I’m not the optimistic type all the time yet there seems to be optimism hanging on the sun beams that blind me as I open my eyes today.
Not the most energetic and athletic type have to say I like a good movie on the couch but I won’t say no to an adventure. Wandering over hill dale and beyond isn’t out of my mind just yet. I have more conversations with my dogs than might be healthy but they are great dogs. The cats are a bit more introverted but they are hilarious. My days are wrapped up with work and creating a garden that will provide me with great harvests that I don’t have to clean, it’s not 100% the case but it’s still fun to build.
My faith is my North Star it is my guide in all things.
The lights have gone out and the world has fallen asleep long ago. I can hear soft music playing across the still waters that softly wash ashore and I wonder to myself what the next day will bring. I know not the next step but with each footstep there will be another and I anticipate a brilliant sunrise over the horizon to meet my gaze. This was my perspective as I lay on my hostel bed on the far side of the world and yet it’s somewhat fitting still.
