Hi: I'm Kathy and I am currently 65 years young. I am single - never been married as I have never met the one God meant for me. I feel I will know him if he ever shows himself! :hearts: If not, I still have my Lord and Savior for he will never forsake me! :glow:
I am 5'2" tall and tend towards being a little on the plump side. I have a big tender heart. Do not get freaked out about the picture in a wedding dress. It was the only recent full length picture I had. Was shopping for a dress for my brother's wedding and decided to play dress-up along the way!!:laugh: However, you need to click on the picture to see it clearly as the small picture they have underneath looks like I put the 50 lbs. back on - it makes me look shorter and heavier then the picture really is when you click on it. :rolleyes: Have lost 50 lbs. and have kept it off for over 7 years. I walk daily when I can either outdoors or indoors. When I walk outdoors I walk 2 miles a day. I am full-figured on top which means I will never look thin or slender (or skinny) in a profile. However, I'm a regular female version of a cuddly teddy bear! :rolleyes: Oh well, in God's eyes I am perfect and beautiful as he created me - Psalm 139 (my favorite psalm).
Low maintenance gal who loves the simple things in life. Money cannot buy love and happiness. And to me love and happiness are everything in this life. Watching my mother die slowly from Congestive Heart failure enforced my belief that giving your all and taking care of those you love in this life is all that matters. When I leave this temporary residence on Earth I would like to leave a legacy of being loved and missed by the people who were important in my life and hopefully they too have learned that being loved and being happy are the 2 most important things in life - not money and/or success. :purpleangel:
The area I live in is full of God's beautiful creation. We have a bit of everything. The beautiful Finger Lakes, tall lush green hills in the spring and summer and in the fall painted trees of orange, red and gold with a touch of browns. Winter - well what can I say there is even beauty in his winters even though it is not my favorite season especially after this past winter. However, the sun sparkling on the snow is more beautiful then all the diamonds in the world. The town I live in has all kinds of activities going on all year long. It was named the "Coolest Small Town in America" one year by a travel magazine. There are art walks, Zombie walks in the fall around Halloween, Strawberry Festival in June, etc. There is an Antique Store on Lake Street with several vendors. Take your pick!! I love my town and the people in it. :glow:
I also love my church, pastor and especially my Church family. They are an extension of my family. :angel: I have 2 brothers who are both older then me that live in this area as well, so I am deeply rooted to this area. :waving:
I would like to meet a kind, gentle and loving Christian man who would love me and accept me as I am. :winksmile: I in turn would love him with all my heart and put him second in life only after my Lord and Savior. :hearts:
