The most pressing thing about me that I can think of right now is how much I dislike writing these things. I do love writing though, just not profiles. :) I was born in Oregon, moved to Brazil when I was twelve and grew up there. I have been back in the States for a few years.
I am Baptist in my beliefs and am looking for someone who believes the same.
I don't have a lot of leisure time. I do enjoy reading, and spending time with my family. My parents and I enjoy select TV shows and movies.
I am a serial hobbyist. I make each niece or nephew a baby blanket of some kind. I also make a Christmas calendar photoshopping pictures of my nieces and nephews into various scenes. It is a lot of fun but gets more complicated every year as the number of nieces and nephews increase as well as the number of countries in which they live.
I enjoy being outside and enjoy trying new things. Except for parachuting, because I will never jump out of a plane. :)
I was born in Oregon. I lived in Brazil for ten years while my family were missionaries there. I have traveled around Brazil, Uruguay, Canada, the United States, Wales, and England. I also had an emergency landing in Ireland once and spent the night there. I'm not sure that counts, but I hope to go back on my visit to my sister in the U.K.
I do want to mention in a spirit of honesty that I do have strong beliefs on divorce and remarriage. My personal conviction is that I will not marry a man who has been divorced. I don't want to be unkind, but I do want to be honest about something on which I won't be willing to compromise.
Please do not write me if you can't speak English properly. I am not interested in marrying a man so he can get his green card. I will not reply to messages sent from men who can't speak English properly.
