I believe our walk with Christ should be more than attending church on Sunday and a mid week prayer meeting. Smartphones and tablets, the Internet, Social media and digital photography allow us so many creative ways to share God's love on a daily basis!
While serving in the US Navy. I was able to visit 38 countries, many in the third world. It was life changing! There were many amazing Christians and organizations that helped to ground and disciple me in the faith.
After my time in the Navy, I attended a small Christian college. I transferred to a state university to finish my degree. I finally ended up working in college admissions. I still enjoy helping students with their college plans and an advocate for veteran and student issues.
I live in a small village in Ohio. We are blessed to have a strong music and cultural scene. There is also almost a hundred miles of bike trails two blocks form my house. I enjoy hiking, biking, eating healthy and keeping fit.
I will be able to cut my workload after the first of the year and plan to travel. I would like to go out west first. Hong Kong and Vietnam are high on my list too.
I am looking for someone with a big heart, a desire to help others, is warm, affectionate, loves animals and is passionate about their walk with Christ.
At my age I realize that entering into a relationship can be complicated. Families are already formed and usually not perfect. A good way to start is with a text first, then a phone call and finally meet over some great coffee.
