Hi, my name is Jessica. I am easygoing and have a good sense of humor. I am a devout Christian. I go to church every week. I try to live for the Lord on a daily basis. I want to meet somebody who also does the same. I want my life to be very pleasing to Him. I have been working on getting more serious about my faith and being closer to God this year.
I have never been married. I am looking for a long term, serious relationship that is Christ-centered and could lead to marriage. I would also like to make some new friends. I am going to school for a degree in web design & development. I may also get a degree in software development at some point in the future. I love to keep learning more about computer science. I am also learning computer programming on Free Code Camp.
I'm a huge fan of Pokémon, Digimon, Studio Ghibli films, Harry Potter(Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff would be the best fit for my personality), Star Wars, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Lord of the Rings.
I believe Christians can listen to secular music but they should still be careful with it. I listen to classic, punk and alternative rock, blues, metal, country, bluegrass, southern gospel, and contemporary Christian music.
I believe Christians should be careful with what entertainment they consume and I will not watch, read, play, or listen to anything that promotes sin, anything that contains an excessive amount of profanity, violence and gore, nudity and sexual content, and anything that is openly satanic or anti-Christian. I do not watch horror movies. I also do not celebrate Halloween.
I love the King James Version of the Bible but I also read other translations on a regular basis.
I believe in the pre-tribulation rapture. I am a fan of the Left Behind books.
I have been a Methodist for most of my life. The church I currently attend voted to separate from the United Methodist Church. I do not believe in eternal security/once saved, always saved. If you want to know why, I can explain. I would prefer someone who doesn't believe in it. I have conservative views on many different topics. I do not support the LGBTQ community or abortion. I believe that sex outside of marriage is a sin. I do not smoke, drink, or do drugs. I believe it's best for Christians to stay away from those things. I do not go to bars or clubs. I believe in dressing modestly and I am very careful about choosing what clothes I buy and wear. I occasionally like to wear makeup. I don't have any tattoos. If you want to know more, ask me. I am an introvert and can be a little shy until you get to know me. I have some learning disabilities and a condition that is similar to Asperger's. I may come across as socially awkward. I'm working on my social and communication skills.
Due to covid, I am not quite ready to start in person dating again. I will be talking to people over the phone, texting and through video chats. I don't know when I'll be able to meet in person. I am also unvaccinated. I do not plan on getting any vaccines.
