I moved to Florida in August of 2015 and absolutely love it! I originally hail from Minnesota and made the decision to move to a warmer climate, not minding the snow of MN (or driving in it!), but it was the -35 winter days that was the deciding factor in moving...I certainly do miss my family and friends, the fall colors, and the spring flowers, especially the lilacs, but I try to make it back to Minnesota on a fairly regular basis, although COVID certainly made it more difficult for a while!
I am not yet retired, I am a school bus driver and still love both the driving and the kids (most of the time!)
I am a people person who loves to laugh, has a good (clean!) sense of humor, and have been told I am compassionate and a good listener. I am an optimistic person who believes in the best in people. I am mostly easy going, enjoy the simpler things of life, excited/passionate about life and what God has so blessed me with and what is yet to come!
I am looking to find a partner to share life with and at some point to marry, if that is God's direction for me. I would look for the qualities of integrity, respect, compassion and someone who cherishes his woman, supports, leads and encourages her. I in turn will respect, love, honor and support my man.
In being a Christian, I believe we are all related, going back to Adam & Eve, then after the flood, to Noah. It does not matter the color of skin or ethnicity. I will treat people with respect and love while standing my ground in my biblical convictions and pray for God's hand on my life.
