Hi, I'm Ben. I'm also more of a quiet reserved type person, but I can open up if I get to know you. My favorite place in the bible currently, is in Psalm 139. It shows me that, even though I hate parts of my personality and wish I was more outgoing, God created me the way I am for a reason. And I believe through my weakness, He will be seen.
I grew up all of my life as a Christian. I got saved when I was 8. I was raised as Southern Baptist and I'm still Southern Baptist, but I'm not much of a fan of denominations. I attend a Baptist church, but we simply believe that the Bible is God's true Word, nothing to be added, nothing to be taken away, and we believe that Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God, but He is God. We believe that salvation is through Jesus and Jesus alone through His death and resurrection.
I've been gifted with many different talents: I can draw (mostly digitally now), write songs, play multiple instruments, and voice act (somewhat). I've drawn since I was 4 or 5, but I got into music in 6th-grade band class. In 2007, I started feeling like God was calling me to be a singer and write songs for Him, which has always been outside of my comfort zone. And that's what I've been striving to do. I'm not the greatest at what I do, but I believe God can use whatever I have to offer. :) The instruments I play are guitar (acoustic, electric, and bass), keyboard/piano, some mandolin, and I sing. I also play trumpet and trombone, but it's been a while since I played. I'm also a professional at the air drums. :P I currently have a "work in progress" recording/music studio where I write and record all my songs on the computer. Writing and recording music is really my biggest passion, as well as spreading the love of Christ and doing so through my music.
I get enjoyment from helping others and being kind. I pretty much get along with EVERYBODY, no matter who they are. I don't say this lightly, but you never see me mad when I'm in public. People have even asked me if I get mad at all. I always have a smile on my face,
but I do get mad from time to time. I'm just really good at hiding it in front of others, but I like to think that's a good quality to have.
I believe God has a wife for me somewhere on this Earth that He made specifically for me, and I've been praying for her for years (and... -ahem- writing her songs). I'm not sure if I'm on here to find a partner or a friend... but anything is possible and God can lead me to the right person on here if He wants. If I want a romantic relationship with you, I would like to build a friendship first. I believe the best marriages that hold together are ones where both partners are best friends with each other. I can be pretty quiet when it comes to voicing my opinions and feelings, but I'm attracted to a girl who can read me without words. :) I'm not saying you HAVE to read everything about me to date me, I know that's a quality I need to work on.
I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't go to parties (unless it's birthday parties :P). I never have in my life, and I don't plan on doing so. I would prefer someone who is the same, but I also believe we make mistakes and get into these things and get stuck in addiction, so I really don't hold it against anyone. :) I like to be funny, and if I can make a girl I like laugh, that's Heaven on Earth for me. :D

Music I enjoy is all over the place. I enjoy pretty much anything that sounds good. :) I grew up with Contemporary Christian music, and still love it. I like Christian Rock and some of the Harder Rock stuff, but I'm not a big fan of screaming in music. I can tolerate it, but prefer clean vocals. :P I also like some Electronic/Trance type stuff. I like Owl City a lot, mostly because I relate to him so well. I also really enjoy movie soundtracks. Artists and bands I like are Building 429, Jeremy Camp, Matthew West, Skillet, Red, Thousand Foot Krutch, Kutless, and several others I can't think of at the moment... but... don't want to put TOO much here, so you can find out the rest and get to know me more personally... like, on a date or something.

- Umm... going to church? Seems like a good Christian date. Going to eat afterwards? Ha! I'm a Baptist, we tend to do that a lot. :P jk. I love nature, God is such a great artist. I think my favorite thing to do, would be walking out in nature somewhere... maybe after we eat, so we can lose the weight we gained. :)
