I suppose the best way to start a self summary is with honesty so it here it goes:
I am not a prefect Christian. I doubt such a thing exists, but I'm far from perfect. I stumble and fall just like everyone else, and have my fair share of things I'm not proud of, which I'll happily share if anyone is interested in connecting with me.
All in all, I'm seeking true Christian Fellowship. I wish to meet someone and create a true connecting with The Lord, whether it's someone I can bring closer to Him, or someone who can bring Him closer to me.
I attend church weekly and try everything I can to be more involved in my church, whether it's through Volunteer Services or Growth Groups.
While I do find joy and inspiration in John 3:16 and Jeremiah 29:1, picking them as a favorite verse seemed a bit cliche. So I decided to find Two Verses that really spoke and both came out of The Book of Isaiah.
The first one is Isaiah 41:10-fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.\r
The second is Isaiah 44:22-I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.
The first verse speaks to me when I find myself nervous or anxious at times.
The second verse is when I'm on a broken road of sin and looking to God for forgiveness and strength to recover.
I am very family oriented and that's another quality in a person I am looking for. Someone with a loving family and someone who wants to create a family together.
A few of my interests include music. Listening and playing music. I took piano lessons, but sadly never got too far, though I still held an interest. I'm currently trying to get into guitar in my spare time.
