I believe that biblical doctrine is far more important than personal opinion. And I know that the Bible is true (and evolution is an unproven fable).
I have a preference for the KJV. Even so, other translations can be helpful in finding the sense of the original, unless you are able to look directly into the original languages, which beats every translation. Anything that helps you study and dig into scripture is good, including multiple translations (as confirmed by the translators of the KJV, in the preface of the authorized 1611 version, for those of you who insist on the 1611 version only). But the KJV is still my favorite English translation.
For many years, I had some confusion about the gospel. Then I finally found out why. Now I have no more confusion about it. There are two gospels. And they are not compatible. Galatians 2:7-9 makes this clear, and is just one of the many places that show this. Mixing them pollutes them both (started by the judaizers, and continued by the churches). And by mixing them together, Satan has succeeded in keeping most church members from finding salvation.
The earthly ministry of Jesus was only to Jews, as proven by Romans 15:8, and Acts 11:19 (in direct obedience to Jesus himself in Matthew 10:5-7). Paul was sent to the gentiles with a different gospel, which was revealed to him by the ascended Lord Jesus.
And I just now found out that this site allows you only 5 messages per day now. They have really tightened down the thumb screws since my last visit a few years ago.

- I prefer some place that would be conducive to conversation. Common goals are good. But I think it is better to discuss deal killers right away. Even so, I think that should not be allowed to turn the date sour. Finding out that you're not right for each other saves a lot of time and effort. So learning that you're not a good fit for each other should be seen as a good thing. Better to find out on the first date (or sooner) than after many dates. It can even be a reason to celebrate and be thankful. So it should not sour the date, but rather make it that much better.
